wedding client questionnaire

It's almost wedding time! This questionnaire's purpose is to help me prepare for your big day and help me gather a few details I will need to include in the blog post featuring your wedding day! This will only take about 10 - 15 minutes to fill out. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me - excited for your big day!

Getting Ready Location of Bride?
When does the Bride plan to begin hair and makeup?
What time does the Bride plan to get dressed?
Do you plan to see one another before the wedding?
If yes, would you like all wedding party and family photos done before the ceremony? (If you have family members that are known for running late, we suggest waiting until immediately after the ceremony to do family photos.)
What time will the ceremony begin?
How long do you expect the ceremony to last?
How many guests are you expecting to attend?
Do you plan to do anything special during the ceremony (such as unity candle, pouring of sand, etc.)?
Is there any restrictions or guidelines I should be aware of at the ceremony venue?
Do you plan to have an unplugged ceremony? (An unplugged ceremony is when the couple requests their guests to put their phones and cameras away during the ceremony so they can be fully present. The best way to spread the word to your guests is have someone announce it before the ceremony begins and having a sign posted at the entrance and/or in the program.)

Must-Have Family Portraits

Use this section as a guideline. Add names and list any important photos you would like to get on the wedding day. Please indicate stepparents or other groups we should know about. To have more time for your couple's session we suggest limiting the groups as much as possible to ten or less. This portion of photos is usually about 20-30 minutes. Selecting someone who is loud and friendly to help gather people will be very helpful in making family portraits flow smoothly..

1. Bride, Groom, Mom (Anne) Dad (Paul)
2. Bride, Groom, Mom (Anne), Dad (Paul), Sister (Jane), Brothers (Jack, Ryan, Kyle)

Are there any family situations, divorces/separations, deaths, etc. I should be sensitive to when doing family portraits?

Reception Time!

Ideally, we will need up to 1 hour after the ceremony for group portraits and bride and groom photos. We will be sure to get images of all of your décor, speeches, and all of those special moments at your reception but we will stop shooting during dinner to give your guests time to relax and enjoy their meals!

What time will the reception begin?
Will you be doing:
Cake Cutting
First Dance
Father-Daughter Dance
Mother-Son Dance
Bouquet Toss
Garter Toss
Other (Please Specify)
Do you have a formal exit planned? If so, what kind?
