The Booking Process

When you are ready to book your wedding day, we have a few options on how to start the process. If you’re local or want to come in person to talk more details, we can set up a time for a consultation in my studio in Hazard! If you have a busy schedule or live outside of the area, everything can be done via email.

With all wedding bookings, a 30% retainer payment is due with a signed agreement to reserve your date. The remaining balance will be set up into a payment plan most suitable for you with final payment due by 30 days before your wedding.

PORTRAITS

Something I include in all of my wedding day collections is a complimentary engagement session. This gives us the opportunity to work together and get to know each other! I always encourage clients to pick a location that has meaning to them or fits their vibe - however, if you need help picking a location I have a full directory of locations with sample photos I can send you to help you choose the perfect spot. Also, if you have any special requests or ideas you want to incorporate into your session, I’d love to hear about it! I want to make your session as unique and YOU as possible.

All engagement sessions come with an online gallery showcasing all of the best images from your session professionally edited. Each session comes with your choice of a set amount of digital images with a print release deliver via digital download and the option to purchase additional images + prints, wall art, & more.

DO YOU TRAVEL? WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?

Yes, I love to travel! Travel fees are only applicable to clients that are 50 miles beyond Hazard, KY. After a 100 mile round trip, it is $0.60 per mile. (For instance, if a wedding is 100 miles from us one way, the fee would be $0.60 x 200 miles for the round trip) We do offer deals for destination weddings ;)

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

Some dates/months are more popular than others, so it’s best to book as far ahead as you can. Popular months such as May, June, September, and October begin booking 12-15 months in advance.

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME FOR PHOTOS?

Sneak peeks are shared within 24-36 hours after the wedding. Your full gallery is delivered within 8-10 weeks of your wedding, and any physical products coming to you 4-6 weeks after all products have been finalized. If you are okay with us blogging your wedding, your blog will go live when your gallery is delivered! Engagement galleries are delivered in 2-4 weeks.

DO YOU HAVE LIABLITY INSURANCE?

Yes! This is something that I feel is extremely important thing to have as a business in the wedding industry (and something that a lot of venues require for vendors). A copy of the insurance certificate can be provided to you by request.

HOW IS OUR REMAINING BALANCE PAID?

After the retainer is paid, your remaining balance is set up into a payment plan that is most convenient for you (usually a monthly payment schedule). The last payment is due by 30 days before the wedding date.

CAN WE DIRECTLY ORDER PRINTS OR ALBUMS FROM YOU?

Most definitely! After your wedding, we will set up a time/date for an in-person consultation where you can see all of your wedding images for the first time. At this point, you will be able to view our full product list along with samples and order whatever your heart desires. If you are an out-of-town couple or have a busy schedule, this will be arranged for email or over-the-phone.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHiNG WEDDINGS?

I first dipped my toes into the wedding industry in June 2016, and officially started doing weddings full time the following year - since then I have photographed over two hundred weddings and counting!
